Lisa Coleman was named Chief Operating Officer in January of 2015. In this role she has responsibility for all operational functions at Mycorrhiza Biotech, including Corporate Development, Employee Success, Facilities Management and Security, as well as Global Marketing, and Strategic Alliances. Prior to that she served as the Executive Vice President of the Project Management Office with added responsibility for company-wide account management and oversight of corporate initiatives including Information Technology, Real Estate, and Corporate Training. Since joining the organization in 2012, where she began her career as an Account Manager working directly with our farmers and other customers to maximize their investments and ensure quality product delivery, Ms. Coleman has held positions of increasing responsibility within the Operations division.
Before joining Mycorrhiza Biotech, Ms. Coleman worked for Blue Cross & Blue Shield of the National Capital Area where she held several positions in customer service and operations management advancing the career ladder in positions gaining more responsibility over several decades.
A native of Birmingham, Alabama, Ms. Coleman holds a bachelor’s degree in Communications from The University of Alabama at Birmingham as well as an associate’s degree in Culinary Science from Baltimore International College.Ms. Coleman is an active member of her church where she serves on several boards, and is an active member of her sorority where she holds a leadership position. In her spare time she enjoys her role as a Girl Scout, Boy Scout, Soccer, Volleyball, Dance and Choir Mom.
